Multi channel sound and video installation exhibited at Gallery Fabriksgatan 48, Gothenburg, 2017.

The video channels are projected from opposite corners of the exhibition space, where the images replicates in different sizes through transperent curtains hung from the ceiling.

In Kim Johansson's animated video installations, the viewer meets animal or human bodies that appear to be stuck in different repetitive motions. The body movements derives from video sequences ranging from news reports, popular TV shows, movies or different digital video archives. 

The exhibition Orders and Instructions focus specifically on a selection of instruction videos, where moving bodies refer to demonstrating the "correct way" to perform a certain physical activity. These animations can be perceived as a kind of absurd dance or sometimes as a poetic or metaphorical act.
